AISI - American Iron and Steel Institute and SMDI - Steel Market Development Institute together launched the project on social networks, with the aim of promoting steel and stressing out the benefits of its use. The project is called #SummerOfSteel roadtrip and are it's carried out in North America. The intention is to educate and inform people through facts, stories and pictures, about the benefits of steel to the community and the individual.
Within the project, the interactive map of the United States, Canada and Mexico is presented, where the specific places are marked where the use of steel significantly improved quality of life and / or work. The AISI team pointed out that the project #SteelOfSummer will show the citizens all the benefits of using steel in their everyday life through social network, and enable them to personally participate actively in the discussion with their questions or suggestions.
