Last week the company TMK Artrom of Slatina (Romania) opened a new manufacturing plant for the seamless precision steel pipes mostly used in the automotive industry and in manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders. The opening of this modern facility was attended by the Romanian State Secretary for Economy - Popa Marciel.
TMK Artrom is one of the leading European companies in the production of seamless steel pipes, and is considered to be an impeller of the whole TMK Group. The company exports almost all of its annual capacity. In Romania remains around 15% of production, while all the rest is exported to over 50 countries worldwide.
Thanks to investment in the most modern tools and machines, the new plant will produce pipes of superior quality, demanded by technology for lifting cargo and machines, sophisticated industrial equipment, and airline and automotive industry. With a capacity of 25,000 meters of seamless pipes per year, TMK Artrom is ready to expand to new markets.
