The Europen leading manufacturers of stainless steel reduced the alloy surcharges

The Europen leading manufacturers of stainless steel Outokumpu, Aper, Acciai Speciali Terni and others, reduced the alloy surcharges on the most frequently used materials in July.

 

Outokumpu reduced alloy surcharges by 40 € / t for material 1.4301 (AISI 304), and it now amounts to € 1,238 / t. Alloy surcharge is reduced by 66 € / t for stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316) and 1.4404 (AISI 316L). Alloy surcharge for stainless steel 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) amounts to € 1,782 / t, which is € 68 / t lower comparing to last month.

 

Aperam published the information that the alloy surcharge for material 1.4301 (304) amounts to € 1,467 / t and its 51 € / t lower than in June. Stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) decreased from € 2,172 / t to € 2,090 / t, while the alloy surcharge for 1.4571 (316Ti) is reduced from € 2,171 / t to the current € 2,089 / t.

 

The general trend of reducing the alloy surcharge was followed by all other leading manufacturers of stainless steel, including ThyssenKrupp. These are currently the lowest alloy surcharges for metioned stainless steels since the May last year.
